I have never needed any excuse to travel but I hope that my wide range of interests and subsequent travels will interest people on this website even if they are not as interested in cricket. I have been to many Formula 1 Grands Prix, visited the filming locations of Where Eagles Dare, trekked around India in search of the Rorke's Drift VC recipient, Gronville Bromhead, and, closer to home near Taunton, John Rouse Chard, whilst still finding a week's walking in the mountains around Zermatt and Grindelwald a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There have been a few stories to tell along the way which seem to amuse people, a few times I have had to extricate myself with as much charm as I could muster after being threatened with being locked up for taking photos in the wrong place - and I swear that I asked or there weren't any signs forbidding it! - so, over the next few pages and months, I hope that you will enjoy my tales and photos which will include Jordan and Jerusalem, India and the World Cup - well, you would expect that, wouldn't you? - Norway, Berlin and a night in Colditz Castle, a hike up Snowdon, more walking in Switzerland and, I hope, a day at the Indian Grand Prix...
