  • South Africa's victory is only their second in seven games against England in the World Cup, and their first since 2000.
  • Marizanne Kapp's 5 for 45 is the best bowling analysis for South Africa in the World Cup. The previous best was Sune Luus's 5 for 67 against Australia at Taunton in 2017.
  • England's 235 for 9 is the third-highest, first innings total in the World Cup for a side which lost. The highest is Sri Lanka's 257 for 9 against Australia at Bristol in 2017.
  • The 107-run partnership between Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones is the only century partnership, and therefore record for any wicket, for England in a World Cup match in which they have been defeated.


West Indies Vs. Australia
  • Rachael Haynes's unbeaten 83 from Australia's 132 for 3 is the third highest percentage of a team's runs by an individual player in the World Cup. Haynes's percentage of 62.88% is narrowly behind Sophie Devine's 63.27% ( for New Zealand against Pakistan at Taunton in 2017) and Chamari Attapattu's 69.26% (for Sri Lanka against Australia at Bristol in 2017).


India Vs. England
  • Charlie Dean's 4 for 23 is the best bowling by an England slow bowler/spinner in the World Cup against India.
  • The England innings saw their first occasion in a World Cup match of their openers making the same score.
  • India's defeat to England is their eighth in the World Cup. Only New Zealand, with ten, have lost more matches.


New Zealand Vs. South Africa
  • South Africa's win is their first over New Zealand in four World Cup matches.
  • After completing the match with 30 and 29 wickets respectively, Marizanne Kapp and Shabnin Ismail are now South Africa's highest wicket-takers in the World Cup.


West Indies Vs. Bangladesh
  • The West Indian total of 140 for 9 is their second-lowest, and fourteenth lowest by all teams, in the first innings of a World Cup which resulted in a win. The lowest such total, successfully defended, is New Zealand's 80 against India at Auckland in 1982.
  • Hayley Matthews's 4 for 15 is the second-best bowling performance for West Indies in the World Cup.
  • The 4-run win is West Indies second-closest by runs in their World Cup history after their three-run win over New Zealand earlier in the competition.
  • For the first time in the World Cup, all ten wickets in one innings (Bangladesh's) fell to slow bowlers.
  • The Bangladesh innings saw the sixteenth occasion of five (or more) players falling for ducks in the World Cup.


Australia Vs. India
  • India's 277 for 7 is the highest first-innings World Cup total after losing the toss and being put into bat.
  • The said total is also the highest first innings total by a team which lost, regardless of the result of the toss.
  • For the second time in the World Cup, a losing side included three individual scores of 50. The other occasion was for South Africa against England at Bristol in 2017.
  • The 130-run stand between Mithali Raj and Yastika Bhatia is the highest by any losing side for the third wicket in the World Cup.
