  • Ellyse Perry became the fourth woman cricketer to be dismissed for 99 in a Test. Three have been Australians and England's Betty Snowball was run out against Australia at The Oval in 1937.
  • Trent Bridge hosted only its second Women's Test, the previous one having been between England against West Indies in June 1979.

  • Australia's 473 is the sixth-highest total in a Women's Test. The highest is Australia's 569 for 6 against England at Guildford in 1998.
  • Australia's first innings saw the first occasion in a women's Test that four bowlers conceded 90 (or more) runs apiece.
  • Tammy Beaumont became the first double-centurion for England in a women's Test. Her 208 overtook the previous highest of Betty Snowball (189 vs. New Zealand at Christchurch in 1934-35. Tammy's innings is the fifth-highest in women's Test history.
  • Tammy's 498-minute innings is the second-longest by an England lady, behind only Rachael Heyhoe-Flint's 521-minute 179 against Australia at The Oval in 1976.
  • Of the 144 women's Tests played, the England innings saw the 83rd occasion of eight or more bowlers being used in the same innings.
